5 things you always wanted to know about Chelsea:

Back in the day I was…
a voracious reader and avid writer of fiction.

I’m weirdly competitive about
word games.

If I didn’t have to work on Tuesday, I would…
go for a hike, read, hang out with my cats, and drink lots of coffee (not all at the same time).

I’ve read almost everything…
in the genre of magical realism (or at least I’m working on it). I love the way writers like Haruki Murakami, Etgar Keret, Neil Gaiman, and Salman Rushdie use magical realism to portray the real world by blurring the lines of reality.

If I get stuck on an island, it better be…
between 50-75 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.
