Jennifer Conrad

Jennifer Conrad is Director of Process Management at MacDougall. In 2014, following eight years of client account management, Jen decided to switch careers within the company, and was thankful that her colleagues were game. Her re-invention involved helping to develop project management as a dedicated role at MacDougall to help ensure that our projects are well-managed and delivered to clients on-time and on-budget. Jen also utilizes traditional and agile project management principles to develop, implement, and maintain MacDougall’s internal operational processes. Prior to assuming the process management role, Jen was an Account Manager at MacDougall, focused on positioning, media strategy, scientific communications, event planning, and conference and publication strategy. Prior to joining MacDougall in 2006, Jen completed her Master’s degree in health communication from a joint program at Emerson College and Tufts University School of Medicine. Jen earned a Bachelor’s degree in communication studies from James Madison University.
5 things you always wanted to know about Jen:
If I didn’t have to work on Tuesday I would…
go for a long run, read, have a leisurely lunch (preferably somewhere near a body of water), take a nap, and, if it’s summer, sit in a pool with a cold drink in my hand.
Ten albums I can’t live without:
St. Lucia – When the Night; Tears for Fears – The Hurting; Tears for Fears – Songs from the Big Chair; Chain Gang of 1974 – FELT; INXS – Kick; R.E.M. – Automatic for the People; The 1975 – A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships; Dave Matthews Band – Live at Red Rocks; Live – Throwing Copper; Sam Fender – Seventeen Going Under
If I get stuck on an island, it better be…
Ocracoke Island (in the Outer Banks) or one of the Florida Keys.
I’ve read almost everything ever written by…
Barbara Kingsolver, JK Rowling, Chris Bohjalian, Liane Moriarty, and Jenny Lawson.
Back in the day I was…
a grocery bagger/cashier, a hostess at Red Lobster, an intern at a lobbying firm, and, perhaps most absurd of all, an intern at a PR firm that required me to dress up in a “Grimace” costume and play basketball with a bunch of kids in the middle of July (I’ve unfortunately misplaced the photographic evidence).
