Joe Sardone is the Vice President of Creative at MacDougall, where he enjoys working with organizations who look to clarify their vision through elegant and effective brand strategies. Joe brings more than 20 years of experience in design with a focus on corporate identity and brand development, user experience design, product marketing and mobile application design with an emphasis on social media strategy and advertising. Prior to joining MacDougall in 2011, Joe was an independent art director as part of a multidisciplinary team in San Francisco, working on projects spanning various platforms, mediums and industries with a strong focus on biotech startups. In addition to his freelance career, Joe has contributed to a number of startups in many capacities, including board member, adviser and evangelist as well as co-founder and CEO. His previous positions include GUI/Web Designer at Schering-Plough Research Institute, Art Director at PureMatter Brand + Interactive and Senior Art Director at Market America, specializing in product marketing, international localization and brand strategy.
